Gallia SWCD Supervisors and Staff recently attended the 2009 OFSWCD meeting in Columbus, Ohio, where Supervisor Lawrence Burdell was installed as President of the Federation for a 2 year term.  Attending were (L to R) David Carter, Merrill Baker, Cory Seymour, Lawrence Burdell, Joe Dailey, Jennifer Harrison, Nick Mills, and Bob Woodward.

Gallia SWCD Tree Sale Now Underway

 

The 2009 Gallia Soil and Water Tree Sale is now underway.  This year the District will be offering packets of 25 small White Pine seedlings for $20; 5 large White Pine transplants for $20; 4 Colorado Blue Spruce for $15;  A Spring Flowering Tree Packet for $10; A Fall Foliage Tree Packet for $10, and A Nut Tree Packet for $20.  Trees are scheduled to be delivered on April 2 and 3, 2009 and are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.  We will be taking orders until the day of delivery or until all trees are sold.   Order forms and information are available at our office with hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or by

calling 740-446-6173.  Please have your payment ready at the time of ordering.
